Canoeing through a rural city is a welcome lifestyle change for
those sick of crowded suburbs and the high cost of commuting.
Breeze Point Landing.
Here are two views of Breeze Point Landing
in Warren, Pennsylvania. Warren has been
called a potential "tourist mecca" by one
local government planning group. A new
hotel is planned here and the local tourist
organization has instituted a 3-year plan to
refurbish the area. Warren County has the
least developed tourist industry in the state.
Among unlimited popular outdoor activities
are hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing,
bicycle touring, ATV trail riding, horseback
riding, snowmobiling and camping in the
half-million acre woods. The U.S. Canoe
Association has held three national races
here.
