Diagnosis
Bridge to Autism
The number of missed diagnoses, delayed
diagnoses, and misdiagnoses for the autism
spectrum disorders approaches

proportions. Things are changing, thanks to the CDC
and the American Academy of Pediatrics. I suspect,
however, that there is still a disproportionate number
of ASDs in our mental institutions and prison
systems. It may take years to sort this out but at least
now things appear to be improving.
